Abstract Submission Guidelines – PAM 2026

The Scientific Committee of the Porto Autoimmune Meeting 2026 invites clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to submit original scientific work in the field of systemic autoimmune diseases and clinical immunology.

Abstract Structure:

​Oral Presentations
PAM 2026 will include two dedicated Oral Communication Sessions within the official scientific program.
A maximum of 16 abstracts will be selected for Oral Presentation (8 presentations per session).
Each Oral Communication will be allocated:
5 minutes for presentation
2 minutes for discussion

All Oral Presentations will be evaluated by the Scientific Jury and will compete for the PAM 2026 Best Abstract Awards.

Detailed presentation guidelines will be sent to selected authors in advance of the meeting.

​E-Posters
Authors whose abstracts are not selected for Oral Communication will be invited to submit an E-Poster.
Accepted E-Posters will be made available through the official PAM 2026 WebApp, ensuring digital visibility and accessibility to all registered participants.
E-Poster technical specifications and submission instructions will be provided upon acceptance notification.

Awards

The Scientific Jury will distinguish the three best abstracts presented as Oral Communications with the following prizes:

1st Prize
Research Grant Award – €800 (To support ongoing or future research activities)
2nd Prize
Free registration for the Portuguese National Congress of Internal Medicine 2027
3rd Prize
Voucher – €50

Awards will be officially announced during the Closing Session.
